When I was young I wanted to become a saint. I ownd lots of this. After deciding I didn't want religion in my life anymore I realized I couldn't throw them away, because of fear of punishment by god. So one day I did,I threw them all to teach myself not do or keep things for fear. Looking at these reminded me of it. :)
Some kids would wrap them in saran wrap, and teachers at the Catholic school I attended would give them out as rewards for good work. The best ones had gold edges. I wanted to be a saint too until I found out what "Virgin and Martyr" entailed.
