Day 89

Vintage hair pins.

17 comments:

  1. Seeing these hairpins takes me back about 45 years. A great-aunt (b. 1890) was just about the only person I knew who wore these. It was always exciting to find one somewhere -- popped out on the floor, left on a table -- during my travels within my grandparents' house.

The ones in the middle of the top row look seriously strong, almost as if they could secure some fencing.

  2. Oh! SO lovely to see these. We call these "grammy's calling cards" as she forever dropped them from her hair everywhere she went. She's gone now, so it's lovely to see them. :D
